I called Powell's when I realized I was having a problem with my hot water heater. I called at 9:45 in the morning to see if someone would be able to come out that day. The woman I spoke to was extremely polite, very helpful, and called me to let me know when the technician would be on his way. The technician was at my house by 11:45 that morning. The technician was amazing and he fixed my hot water heater and in a little more than an hour I had hot water again! This is the first instance I've had that required any repair service at my house but I can say with certainty I will call on Powell's again if I ever need anything plumbing related. Their friendly and fast service has made me a loyal customer.

I am very happy with the work performed by the plumber but he was forced to charge me the time spent to procure a hammer drill and cost of rental. This almost doubled the final bill. I would recommend to avoid this business due to unfair billing practices.

I was very unhappy with Powell's. They charged me to much time for trying to locate a point that I told them about; they failed to explain about a lot of important points related to what I needed and ended up costing me time and money. I did not feel they were honest or upright. I strongly recommend going elsewhere.

A courteous and knowledgeable receptionist/secretary answered the call and was able to schedule my home for service that day. Two knowledgeable and efficient gentlemen responded to our call and thoroughly investigated our water issue. Luckily for us it was not as we had feared, but only a simple switch replacement. They had the part with them and were able to replace the switch within minutes thus restoring our water. Because they were efficient with their diagnosis and repair, our bill was kept to a minimum. Their prices are competitive/comparable with other companies in the area.

BEST WELL CONTRACTORS IN VA, look I m a cheep savy delership mechanic. You want a real review here it is. When s@it hit the fan I spent all day contacting every well guy I could find near front royal. Every person I talked to gave me that ol song and dance well there could be other issues meaning we can t diag well just half to get down there meaning I just want to see jgthow much I can squee you for ect ect... Diagnoses & experiance is everything as soon as I contacted Jeff at Powell s he sent a tec to diag my issue, within no time he has to seasoned pros Justin & Mojo that repaired my well and took the extra time(no charge) to verify all systems relating(pressure switch, tank, continuitty) and so on. Not only were they about 1/3 cheaper they carry the best well pumps Goulds with a 5/year warrenty. You re welcome I just saved your vacation fund - George

Very professional, quick and responsive. We left a message on their answering service in the evening and received a call back early in the morning to schedule service for that day. The guys did a great job, were friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The two reviews here are the only good I've ever heard about these rip off artists. They've run quite the scam sending postcards out to homeowners with septic systems and then come in and tell them they need thousands of dollars worth of work. Good thing I got two more opinions also from licensed professionals. They also charged me to pump total capactiy of system which when other companies said they could not have pumped anything from the solids tank other than the water on the surface of it without digging the tank up whick of course they didn't! Also, the price per 1000 gallons for pumping changed when it came to paying the bill after the pumping was done. DO NOT use this company. Many others that are honest in the areas they are servicing!

We recently had extensive work performed on our in-ground well by Powells Plumbing. As with past service calls for a myriad of water-related issues, the workmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. During this most recent project, an unexpected development not directly related to the plumbing rehab surfaced. Powells was there the next business day to deal with the situation. Two technicians worked steadily over several hours, using equipment they had rented expressly for the fix. By evening, the matter had been thoroughly and professionally resolved. Since the remediation visit fell outside the original estimate, Powells management graciously and generously charged only for the materials. We couldnt be happier and recommend Powells for any plumbing challenge.

Just as important in this day and age of impersonal and often inferior customer service: everyone associated with the business is genuinely warm, friendly, and outgoing. Each Powell employee works incredibly hard to earn the publics respect and trust, and they have surely earned ours.
