The apartments themselves are not bad. The manager Andrea however is a different story. For the lack of better wording, the woman and her husband (the maintenance man) are ghetto. They are from Brighton so as all people do they have personal issues with people. Well if they have personal issues with anyone a tenant knows, they are banned from the property without any formal paperwork. They ask for consent form to have overnight guests. I have gone to visit a friend there multiple times and see that the manager is always in sweats. Not professional at. She bullies her tenants because most of them are low income or fixed income. She is a the true definition of the word tyrant. Her mother also lives on site with a pet (dogs) are not allowed. I have heard from numerous people that they believe she has gone in to their homes. I hope someone does something because that is sickening.

This place is run by sick people.. Just as the previous review said andrea will use your personal circumstances to laugh and joke with other tenents... I have seen Jeff try to physically fight another tenent, they have verbally abused me, and they will invade every aspect of your life. I have found a lovely home and so will you... And it's not at platte valley appartments.

It's time for either a change in staff or this place needs to be shut down. The manger Andrea is a horrible manager who doesn't even deserve that title but that's what she is so that's how we'll refer to her. When maintenance is done on your apartment they enter while you are gone without permission and go through your personal belongings. Andrea will try to befriend you but in turn divulges your personal information to others for her own entertainment. My advice to you is to keep looking. A homeless shelter is a better option than this s#%* hole

We were looking for a great apartment complex to live in in Brighton and I found this one on Google maps. Let me start off by telling you the manager herself was very rude before we even spoke to her. Apparently we were parked in the wrong area even though they were all marked Tenant Parking and no one was parked there. She pointed to the sign and we looked for additional parking without the sign to see none so we parked next to the parking spot by the sign. She rudely asked," What do you want?", and we asked, " Do you have any available apartments at this time?" She said "No!" and slammed her office door in our faces. It was bad enough she looked like a bum who rolled in the gutters without a shower for months but she was very disrespectful, I wonder how they even put food on the table with their horrible attitudes. My advice to you, it's not even worth attempting to park your car. So we went to The Spring Hollow Apartments and we've been very happy ever since!
