Having lived and worked in Australia, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia for the last ten years, Shelley and Rob are truly the dive experts for that region.
We will be featuring trips to the great reefs of Austral-Asia, offering both land-based and live-on-board adventures. Watch for our exclusive April 2006 trip to Papua New Guinea aboard Mike Ball's ship, Paradise Sport. Additional adventures will include the whale shark migration in Western Australia, the blue waters of Palau and the great wrecks of Truk Lagoon. Join us to dive the reefs of Indonesia and hike the hills looking for Komodo Dragons.
We will venture closer to home with dive journeys to Mexico, Hawaii and the Caribbean.
Planet Scuba offers both escorted group travel and independent adventure planning.
Our dive club, DC2 (Douglas County Dive Club) will offer social events as well as discounted group travel.
Join us every 2nd Thursday of the month as a member of the new Douglas County Dive Club (DC2). We need your continued support to get this fun sport and social club off the ground and into the abyss. Come for a travel talk, slide show or just to chat about diving. Divers, snorkelers and all those interested in the oceans and water sports are welcome. Future gatherings will include gear trials in the pool, specialty training seminars, BBQ's and great fun. So bring a buddy and swim on over!
PADI Scuba Experiences for Kids
SASY
It's time to snorkel - a new and exciting way! Supplied Air Snorkeling for Youth (SASY) lets you experience the underwater world the easy way - by snorkeling with scuba equipment instead of a snorkel.
Once you try SASY, and complete the program, send in for your own SASY participant card and wall certificate. The full-color, wallet-size card comes with your picture, name and address. The wall certificate announces you as "SAS Savvy!"
