I have gone to Pins and Needles 2 times now. First for my middle lip piercing, and more recently for the snake bite. Both times i have observed a clean and sanitary envoirnment. Two thumbs up.

Havnt had any tats there tho. For the Portland, ME area i would suggest sanctuary tattoo.

I have gotten 5 tattoos here and have been very pleased every time. Its great environment friendly staff and professional artists are always happy to do what it takes to make sure you get what you want.

Mike runs an awesome tattoo studio, Very clean and vey efficient. Mike personally has done several tatts for my sons, and is awesome. Fantastic job...Highly recommend him to others anytime....

they have no idea what they're doing for surface piercings and are totally willing to experiment on customers citing their 'guarantee' to repierce if something goes wrong. Who wants to get something repierced by someone who didn't do a good job in the first place?On the flip side, they've been great for all my non surface piercings that I've gotten. And they are all really nice. I'd recommend them for belly buttons, ears, and noses. They're very clean, and the atmosphere is very professional. Just don't expect a good piercing job if it's anything even close to the exotic side because they don't have any experience with it. Try asking for a picture of a healed piercing that they did, if they don't have one, don't get it done there.

Aaron did a great job with my tattoo and my husband's too! The people were very nice and it was a clean comfortable place for a not so comfortable procedure.
