Pinon Family Practice is pleased to report that we are focused on becoming recognized as a Patient Centered Medical Home, also known as the PCMH model. Many of the requirements for recognition are the things that we do every day, but what does it mean for you, the patient. By definition, the PCMH model puts the patient at the center by providing primary health care that is relationship based toward the whole person. Our health care team wants a strong partnership with patients and their families by encouraging understanding and respect of each patientâ??s needs, values, culture, and preferences.

Reviews of Pinon Family Practice

1 Do not return calls by pmt - 12/05/2009

Pinon Family Pactice has been been my primary medical care place since moving to Aztec in 2005. As the practice has grown, I see less and less of my doctor and more and more of the PA - that is when she and/or her nurse bother to return calls. I have three calls in right now - over a period of 14 days - that they have yet to return. These calls are regarding follow up on a treatment that is not working. I guess they are too busy moving in to their brand new facility to deal with patients. If this were a traditional business and I were a traditional customer, I would never go back and I would certainly spread the word of the poor customer service. That option is not available to me - so I am at the mercy of them returning calls. They could at least extend the courtesy of returning the calls instead of just ignoring their patient.
