The best vet I know
by hart375 , 12/28/2010
I have known many veterinarians in my 50 years of owning various cats, dogs, rats, birds, and mice as pets. I have resided in 5 states and a foreign country. There are only 2 vets that I would call THE BEST. One is no longer practicing and the other is Dr. Christy (Dr. Christine Stevenson). Her conscientiousness is beyond compare (she cries with you when an animal has to be euthenized). She was voted as a Top Doc by her peers and featured in an article in a professional journal. I have known her personally since she was in the fourth grade, and together we worked dogs for obedience training. Her devotion to animals was evident then as well as now. Friends of ours have changed to start using Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital because of her professionalism and devotion. The office staff have always been great as well, even when my questions were probably silly to them. Even living on the west side of town and making the "trip" to the east side has not deterred us.

I have taken my dogs here for 2 years, and every time I've recieved great care. I have seen all of the doctors and each one has been very attentive to the needs of my pets. The nursing staff is always knowledgable and friendly. When walking in the front door, my pets are greeted by name. This is a family type environment, and i will continue to take my pets here for years to come
Avoid this vet

We lost our very stealth, healthy dog to this vet who promised recovery from an infection with a simple overnight stay on antibiotics, yet called a few hours prior to pick up to say our beloved member of the family had passed away.5 months later our questions go unanswered and we remain devastated. Heard similar stories from other animal owners.

Dr. Stephenson is a caring and skillful vet who is down to earth and will take excellent care of both your pet and thoroughly explain things to the owner so that they feel taken care of as well.
