Well, was a great diverse place for learning, until they fired/replaced every minority in the administration with a white principal, and all of his white friends! So, probably a bit of a racist institution!

PInecrest Academy INSPIRADA has been a great experience even though communications were rocky the first month school started, but that would be expected from a new school that was delayed due to construction. Now we receive routine emails, flyers in backpacks and Facebook posts.

The staff and administrators are very accommodating and personable with students and parents. They knew our names within the first two months which is impressive for a school having over 600 new kids. They also allowed our twin boys to be in the same class and excused us for a week long tour of Canada (with prior notice).

We are exceptionally impressed with their first grade teacher, Ms. Czarnecki. Our boys enjoy her class with the wagon wheel reading area and elaborate seasonal decorations while we (the parents) appreciate her weekly communications. She works tirelessly to provide a fun and challenging curriculum for all children. They are able to progress at their own pace through ST Math, study island and power readers (AR reader/renaissance home connect). Occasionally they work with their classmates on special group projects like the space one.

Worst school ever! Would have given 0 stars if possible! My triplets entered middle school here as we thought it would be a better choice than the junior high we were zoned for. They tested my kids in math and English prior to entering 6th gr. and placed my son in an 8th gr. math class based on his test score. My normally straight A student received an F in math the first quarter! When we met with the math teacher to discuss our concerns about him failing because he was missing all the math concepts taught in 6th and 7th gr. we were told "He's so smart it's crazy! His test score says he should be in 8th gr. math." All 3 of my children had their worst year academically there than any year since they've started school. We pulled them out of there and placed them at Brown Junior High this year for 7th gr. and their grades have improved dramatically and they are much happier there.

Good school

The staff at this school really seem excited to be teaching. There is a sense of community that I haven't seen in any of the schools that my daughter has been to. We have moved around in Henderson a lot so my daughter has been to three different public schools. I believe thus school cares about the kids. I'm am excited to be a part of the Pinecrest family. I believe this school is a step up from the local public schools.

GREAT and AMAZING school with a ton of community involvement!

This school is truly amazing and I couldn't be happier or more proud that my son attends here! They are ALWAYS doing things for the community and the staff and teachers TRULY care about the students! I love that they wear uniforms. The school is still new since it's only been open for a year but I am very impressed with all they have done to make it a successful school. The principal really cares about our kids and the community. :)
