Truly a family feel and excellent Staff & Doctors
by thank you , 07/27/2010
This was my first eye exam in 20 years and the staff and Dr. Clyde were professional, knowledge able and friendly. I had the most complete and accurate eye exam of my life. They also have a complete retail selection of frames. I could not be happier with my experience at Pikes Peak Eye Care.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!
by Ashley , 06/21/2012
This place is awful! All the people in this office are SO rude starting at the front office all the way to the glasses!!! Dr. Clyde is one of the worst doctors ever and super rude, he didn't even take time to talk to me about my questions or concerns. His assistant I think his name is Jed is the only nice person there, and took the time to answer my questions. I will never go back to this office ever again!
Another long time patient going elsewhere
by Disappointed patient , 08/19/2013
I had special testing done due to medication I am taking. I was asked to come back in to have the test taken again. First results were not conclusive. I had second test done but did not receive any results. I have called several times to find the results of the second test. I leave message after message but no return call.I finally called my specialist who requested the test to see if they received the results. That's how I got my answer. My eye sight is very important to me, but not to Pikes Peak Eye Care.I will find another eyecare center!
Copy of eye test (Prescription)
by Demetrio Sierra-Garcia , 12/31/2009
If you go to this location for an eye test ensure you get a copy before you depart. I've been trying to get a copy for about a month, and guess what? nothing, they must be too busy. The staff is great; but do not sent e-mail to them, guarantee they will not reply back.

The staff was nice,it's a nice facility and accepts Medicaid. Was surprised that the service was exceptional and even gave us some free pairs of contacts and plenty solution and cases,so my daughter wouldn't be without while waiting for the order. And also repaired our glasses for nothing while we were waiting for her to finish with her appointment. Having no other insurance and forced to be on Medicaid, it's hard to find providers who except Medicaid, we just appreciate the friendly quality care and it is a nice place and to the person that said that remark I see it was on New Years I am sure they were busy trying to take care of people so they could enjoy the beginning of a new year. so ignore that comment. it's a nice place and treats people decent no matter what insurance you have.
Great place to go!

The staff was very friendly and I was well taken care of. Optical helped fix my glasses free of charge, and I had to order my contacts and they came in three days later! I will for sure go back to this office and recommend anyone that is looking to go here.
This office USED to be good
by bad place to go , 06/21/2012
I have been going to this office since 2008 and they were good people and really cared about the patients care. They now have rude people at the front desk that don't care when you walk in, Dr. Clyde shuffles his patients in and out and seems like he has no time for anyone, and the people in the eye glasses are just rude and my glasses didn't turn out good at all and they wouldn't refund my money or give me other options, I had to go somewhere else for my glasses and pay again. I am beyond upset due to the fact that this office used to be a great place to go. NOT anymore!
Long time patient now going elsewhere
by Frustrated , 01/15/2013
I have been a long-time patient at Pike Peak Eye Care - but have decided to take my business elsewhere. Staffing changes and policy changes have tranformed the business into a cattle call of rude and unhelpful staff with poor quality products (yes, there are exceptions - some people are nice thre - and I know I am generalizing). Most frustrating was horrid quality of glasses! After paying over $600 for one pair of glasses (after insurance) they had to be redone FOUR times and it took almost 3 weeks each time. And they still were not quite right in the end. And no one cared!!!! Sad that I am parting company, but my eyes are important to me and not worth the frustration!
