Provided by SuperpagesExceptional craftsmanship is evident in everything he does. He installed a new entry door to my home; then refaced exisiting kitchen cabinets and made all new doors and drawers in my kitchen and bath. His attention to detail is phenominal. His prices are the best I've found, especially when you consider the top-notch quality he produces.
My entry door is an elegant statement of Douglas Fir in a natural finish. I chose a bungalow design. John brought my vision to life, complete with the best hardware to complement the rich lines of the door. It sets my home apart from all others in my neighborhood, and makes it a place I'm proud to call mine.
He is dependable. Showed up when he said, did exactly what we agreed to, and itemized every expense before proceeding with the work. I highly recommend him. He can turn your old kitchen into a model of home improvement. He can also take your idea for a unique piece of furniture and make it a reality.

After just listing our home for sale, we had a scheduled showing at 6pm. That morning, my kids ran through the bathroom and hit an open cabinet door. It broke and splintered the wood right down a main piece. I was frantic and called John. Since he was heading into Portland, he met me at a location, took my broken door and had it back to me by 4pm. Not only does it look perfect, but he was so nice and courteous considering I was a nut case. His price was beyond reasonable and I could not have been happier with the results. 2 days later he called to make sure it was still ok. Customer service is lacking horribly these days, but John took it that extra step to insure my satisfaction. If I ever need any woodworking assistance again, John will be at the top of my list.

We had some old antiques and family heirlooms that needed to be sanded and refinished. Phillips Woodworks did an excellent job at matching them to an already existing piece we owned. I would recommend them to anyone! Very professional and easy to work with.
