I used a Petsmart Pet Hotel when I started back to work after adopting a new dog. She had separation anxiety, and was taking it out on my furniture. She was not crate trained, either, so I took her to Petsmart for doggie daycare for about 3 weeks while we worked out our routine. They were gentle and kind to her, and took her out for play time with the other dogs. I guess she figured out that I returned home each evening and came to get her, so between the petsmart pet hotel and training classes, she became more confident, the chewing stopped, and now she is among my dearly beloved! She is a gem, and we have been best friends for 10 of her 12 years.
