Rude workers is not worth the price!

Living in the same neighborhood as Perkins, I was all too happy to have a dry cleaners near my home so that I can drop off and pick up my clothes coming and going to work. Especially after the unfortunate closing of A&H cleaners. Their weekly specials are an added incentive for using this particular dry cleaners. They do good work when they pay attention to detail. I have had consistent issues with them paying attention to the details that I ask for such as: shirts being creased at the cuff and my jeans being pressed without creases. They would consistently mess-up my order despite the attendant writing down the specific instructions on the ticket for the workers to follow. These mistakes were easy to overlook because once they were brought to the attention of the person in charge at pick-up would come from the back apologetic and promptly rectify the problem. I have a greater issue with Perkins cleaners customer service and the friendliness of the staff. I normally do my business at the cleaners on Tuesday mornings to take advantage of the special. I pay for my order in advance per the terms of the special. The morning attendants started off being nice but over time they have become increasingly crass and short tempered. It leaves one with the feeling that they are irritated that people are waiting to be served and we are disturbing them from doing other things. There is no longer a welcoming feeling when entering the establishment. I went out of my way to rekindle a more friendlier service experience to the point that I self evaluated my approach when I asked for services in hopes that it would trigger a change in our encounters because I frequent this establishment every week. To no avail, the customer service has progressively gotten worse. So much so that I began to dread bringing my clothes in for cleaning but the convenience of the location kept me coming back. I reached my limit with Perkins cleaners and the customer service representatives they have working at the front desk on the morning when they closed early on Tuesday February 24, 2015 due to the snow. I can understand them closing early due to the safety of the workers. When I came in the following morning with my clothes I asked the front desk customer service clerk if they were honoring the Tuesday special since they were closed on the day before. I ask for inquiry sake, and was prepared to pay regular price if the answer was no. Instead of a simple yes or no, the morning customer services clerk proceed to angrily say to me "yall people kill me, we closed early cause of the snow. What you want us to do kill ourselves so you can get a deal on your clothes. Today is Wednesday not Tuesday so we charging Wednesday prices. You can bring your clothes back on Saturday if you want the special. Y'all get on my nerves." I apologized for inquiring and proceeded to gathering my clothes and walked out determined to NEVER bring my clothes back to this establishment. I am deeply saddened that it has come to this because I now drive to Raeford Rd. to get my cleaning done. It is a huge inconvenience but worth it to not have my day start off negatively over dry cleaning. Perkins does a good job when they pay attention to detail but the anguish of dealing with unfriendly, angry, disrespectful front desk clerk early in the morning is worth the inconvenience of driving across town. At least they greet me with a smile and make me feel valued as a customer.

NOT PROFFESIONAL AT ALL

HOW DO YOU RUN A CLEANERS AND YOU CANT EVEN GET ANYONE TO ANSWER THE PHONE. I HAVE HAD 3 ROCKAWEAR ITEMS BURNED AND NOBODY KNOWS HOW THEY GOT THEIR. AND HALF THE CLOTHES THEY CLEAN ARE NOT CLEAN. I SPECIFICALY MARKED A SPOT ON A PIECE OF CLOTHING TO SEE IF THE SPOT WOULD BE CLEANED AND GUESS WHAT IT WASNT, THE MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE BAD ATTITUDE AND REALLY DOESNT CARE.

The employees aren;t polite and I have to have my items cleaned twice because it wasn;t done professionally.
