Peoria Barge Terminal can handle loading or offloading of cargo from barges, trucks and rail cars. Our 1200 foot unloading dock gives us the ability to handle up to 4 barges at a time, and our on-site rail spur can accomodate up to 24 standard-size rail cars.

Peoria Barge Terminal can handle loading or offloading of cargo from barges, trucks and rail cars. Our 1200 foot unloading dock gives us the ability to handle up to 4 barges at a time, and our on-site rail spur can accomodate up to 24 standard-size rail cars.

Storage capacities on the terminal property currently include 40 acres of outside storage and about 200,000 square feet of inside storage. Warehousing is within a fenced area, and security guards patrol the entire facility during non-working hours. We have several tanks on the terminal property for liquid storage as well.

We can also provide additional services ranging from repacking, sorting and weighing of materials to bill of lading preparation and automated inventory programs.
