Two stars: 1) they're open, 2) they sell auto parts. Beyond that you had better be _*miserly*_ and NOT NEED to use what you buy. Their stated return policy is that you have the receipt AND the part not ever installed

Customer service was not bad but the part i bought was. Bought a radiator from their which lasted a month then the transmission cooler line cracked and got tranny fluid all throughout my cooling system, now i have to get a new radiator and spend more money to flush my cooling system. First and last time i ever buy a part from there.

There always the best along with the best price.

I am a single mom on a limited budget and needed to purchase a Fuel Pump to fix my car. I called several parts places to find out pricing and I choose a brand common to most stores (Airtex). To my surprise I was able to buy the same exact part for almost half...WOW!!...this tells me how much the mark up is at the BIG parts places. I will forever be a loyal customer because I see this small family owned business is trying to sell parts for a small profit with great customer service...I cant go wrong.

We live in Tube City made the trip to this store to buy one thing after talking to Robert a parts man found out we had a different problem he could have made a sale and keep going we went there looking to buy a $169 starter and only send $28 fix are truck this guy took his time to help us you can't find service like this any more

Sold us an alternator, and when I tried to exchange the 120 amp for the 90amp, because the 120amp that they suggested was too powerful, they said could not accept the exchange because the part was not theirs. So basically the part they sold us, was not one of THEIR brands that they sell in the first place. I got ripped off 184 dollars because their employees did not follow procedure in checking the parts before they sell them and they probably gave us someone else's wrongful exchange, giving a brand new customer the wrong product- again not following policy and procedures. What professionalism!

I've gotten quite a few parts from here and I haven't run into any problems. The only thing I noticed is a lot of the parts are generic. Which is probably why they cost less. But everything I've bought was half the price as other auto parts places. I don't know how that other guy managed to catch his starter on fire since it takes a source of fuel like wood or gasoline or something that burns in order to start a fire and all the starters I've seen just have coiled wire and metal. I don't see how you could catch it on fire if you held a flame to the inside. Which is probably why the owner ignored him. Yes you can get one hot and it can smoke but fire?

The best price and 99% of the time they have it!! It's worth the drive if you don't live close and they're right off the freeway. There is usually a line but thanks to the great staff things move along quickly.

Customer of mine had her old mechanic install a remanufactured starter that he bought from this store. THE QUALITY OF THESE PARTS AT HIS LOW PRICE IS THE CHEAPEST JUNK YOU CAN FIND IN THIS COUNTRY. MY COMPLAINT IS NOT THE FIRST; RUMORS ARE UP AND DOWN THE STREET WHERE THIS BUSINESS IS LOCATED. Three months later the starter internally caught fire and burned up the battery cable and the oxygen sensor wiring. I filed a labor complaint in writing with a one page statement to the owner personally and he filled out the paperwork and never submitted it for my refund of $250.00. I sent a copy of the statement certified letter also asking for the contact information to the facility where he buys his parts from so i can discuss the fire inside the starter. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A SERIOUS ISSUE. He has declined to honor my request and will not turn in my warranty labor claim. I originally emailed the paperwork and 4 weeks later he calls me up and asks me for that paperwork, then denies he has it.

Very efficient,very professional yet personable. At Checker Auto parts, if they have a female working, they only light up if they see a male walk in, they attempt to be very very helpful... Your staff always treats people alike, even if sometimes we are not sure of the part name.... When my husband send me on an errand to Penny Pincher, I am always treated right by all and when he has to go, so is he.. We are small business owners and have a fleet of 6 vehicles and a mechanic to keet them road ready, so we run the errands and gets parts.Penny Pinchers is very cost effective!!!!!

I have been shopping there for auto parts for 20 years. It's a small place with great service.

Hey my name is barbara and I have vehicoles that are old and hard to find parts for. But penny pinchers always has the parts for my cars and trucks at the lowest price in town

Dont expect this place to be like autozone/chechers/napa. First walk in you get in line, get to counter, request the part, they bring part, give you a ticket, you go to cash register, pay a CHEAP price compared to others, I got a $150 part for $48!!!! Nice size parking lot, lots of employees working the counters, so did not wait long, part looked brand new, cheap price. Great Place!!!! Im glad I was told about it. From now on, i will make the drive to get all major parts there!
