I went to PEGGY and she told me for my wedding dress alterations the it would be $20 for each lay hemmed and $20 for the bustled. The first time I meet her, within the first 5 mins of putting on my dress she told me I was TOO FAT FOR MY DRESS. Then she said, HOW DID THEY EVEN GET YOU INTO THIS DRESS IN THE FIRST PLACE? WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU PUT THIS DRESS ON? I told her it was only 2 months before. WELL I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THEY GOT YOU IN HERE? ARE YOU SURE YOU WERE ABLE TO FIT INTO THIS DRESS? I could fit into the dress and I just stood there trying not to cry. THE NEXT TIME YOU COME AND SEE ME YOU SHOULD LOSE SOME WEIGHT. The next time I went she said, that by the looks of me getting into the dress I'LL JUST KNEE YOU IN THE BACK TO GET YOU IN THE DRESS. Again I left crying. Then the last time I meet with her, she told from the the beginning it would be about $80 for everything. She calls me and tells me its $250. So if you want to get screwed over, PEGGY'S the one to go to!

Peggy did three pairs of slacks for me by taking them in at the waist. She did a spectacular job and her turn around time is amazing! I had my pants back within a couple weeks (over the holidays even!) and is very reasonable with her prices.
