poor customer service and quality

by Kenny McDougald , 01/22/2014

I took them my cavalier in February 2013 and got their Majestic paint service because it was on special. The work came with a 2 year warranty. Now, less than a year later, the paint is completely peeling off. I took the car up there last week and told the guy I did not have the paperwork and he said not a problem. He said that he could tell that it was their paint. So I take the car back today and was told they will not honor my warranty without the receipt! When the work was done I was not told that I had to guard the paperwork with my life. They said they will repaint the car but I would have to pay all over again. Why would I pay them to do another poor paint job that is going to peel again? I am very disappointed in this shop and I will never bring a car or refer someone to them again.

Worst Nightmare!

by jptferreira , 01/09/2014

I took an old honda accord 1996 for a paint job. After I didn't accept the initial quote they lowered the price saying that due to lack of work they prefer to have the men working. I accepted the quote and requested for some dents to be repaired paying extra. All accepted and left the car with them at the 12/10/13. 3 days later got the call to pick it up and from a distance it looked great. After I approached the car I found several run ins. I asked John about it and he said it was normal for a low quality job. I didn't ask for a low quality job. Previous he said the pain was cheaper but would give a glossy look and last longer than the cheap solution they quit offering. He decided to tell me to take it there after Christmas time and they would sand it and repaint that area. I accepted that and called at the 01/06/14 to know when to take it. He told me that the 30 days warranty had expired... I replied that he told me and wrote on the repair order to take it after Christmas. Then he accepted for me to take it on the 01/07/14 first thing in the morning. I did and nobody was there. Next day he said they opened later because it was too cold, but nobody called me. Then I called again (01/08/14) and got the manager that told me to take it. I took it and the manager very rudely said that that was an acceptable job, that I'd get run ins and other problems with low quality jobs. I agree! Low quality job. He then, after using foul language (that I reacted very bad to) , decided to keep it and told me it would be ready next day. I went there today 01/09/14 and the car had only been sanded and not even buffered. It is looking worse than with the run ins. Have now 2 spots that he said he will not fix. When I said that I'll use the Law and smiled and used foul language. I replied and told him that I'd not be able to lower to his standards and could not understand that language. He then started walking towards me to initiate a violent confrontation.I walked into the car and left. My worker was with me during this (took me in his car) and we both drove out so to not be part of that type of behavior. Sadly, this reflects on loosing clients and jobs. People there are not honest and lie at ease. They didn't expect me to confront them and reacted bad when I demanded what I paid for and was contracted. The law, however, protects this type of business and they continue to fool others and smile about it. I took the car and will have it fixed but my first intention is to let others know about my situation so they don't fall into the same trap.

What a joke, Earl S. Jr

We got our vehicle painted after an accident. Peach painted my mom and dads car/truck in Douglasville, GA in the early 90's. Paint still looks good for 20 yrs old. The paint job done in Fayetteville, NC was worst than Earl S, back in the day for 29.99. Paint is peeling off, there are bubbles, runs, paint eyes, cracks, do I need to go on. Tried calling and they blew us off. Found cooperate office in Columbus, GA and it was a total piece of doo doo. I wouldn't recommend this place to any one. Unless, it is for a kindergarten paint class. Oh yes, the one in Douglasville that did a great job is closed. Go figure.

I was looking forward to a nice low cost paint job, which peeled 2 months after paint. Got car repainted to fix the flaws, painted car the wrong color, car antenna was missing and rear light was not put on correctly. The young incompetent and goofy workers need to be fired. I will tell others to totally stay from this place. I got my car back after the second paint job with bubbles in the paint, no peeling for now but their was a list of other flaws... The paint job was inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for.... I give up on this place!
