Over our 11 years we have worked with thousands of clients. Their needs have varied from pain and stress reduction to improved athletic performance; the correction of sleep disturbances to increasing their energy and focus, to name a few. When Peaceful Spirit first opened its doors in 1996, we introduced our clientele to the benefits of therapeutic massage. While the results are different for everyone, most clients experience a profound personal change over time. As muscles and connective tissues release and a greater sense of well being is achieved, many clients become ready to take the next step. For some that could mean exploring movement therapy or yoga classes, while others want to experience other forms of body work, like Chi Nei Tsang or CranioSacral therapy. Of course, some clients may be ready to tackle issues through personal coaching and release patterns that no longer serve them. This growth reflects a national trend toward the increased use of complimentary and alternative therapies. According to research published by the American Massage Therapy Association, 42 percent of U.S. adults have used some type of alternative care in the past year and many report a likelihood of future use. Further, 80 percent of those surveyed said they would be most likely to use massage therapy. With five locations in Tucson, we offer more massage space (and more available last-minute appointments) and a growing roster of alternative health care providers, making Peaceful Spirit a center for natural healing. We look forward to helping you achieve balance of body, mind, and spirit.
