Provided by SuperpagesMy dog has been going to The Paw Spa for three years, and every single time that I go there they give me exactly what I ask for and more. Thanks so much to the owner Lori Prince and her employees. Whenever I go to pick my dog up from the Paw Spa he does not want to leave. I got recommended by one of my friends,I didn't have a reason to go until I saw my dogs nails and teeth. The first day I went I walked in and saw a very clean and healthy enviroment. Lori told me the prices and gave me an estimated time, and they were all wonderfull.

Provided by SuperpagesI just wanted to comment on Guest 80827 and her dogs rear-end glands. I think she misunderstood. You can drain the rear-end glands from just squeezing the outside of the rear-end or a vet can insert his finger in the rear end and squeeze them that way. I know this because I am a vet tech. but you can go online and get the info if you don't believe me. I'm not surprised that the grooming salon didn't want to give you any money if they did it, it could be that your dogs glands were really full and the vet had to insert his finger to drain them fully. Just wanted you to be informed. Oh, by the way I take my little Yorkshire terrier to them and they have always done a great job. Would definitely refer them to anyone.

I took Charlie my Golden Retriever to the Paw Spa on Sat. 8-14-10, it's not his 1st time there I have taken him since he was a puppy. He came out looking all shiny and smelled so great (nothing like when I left him). I just want everyone to know that this is the best place in town to take your dog. They have the best groomers and they know what they are doing. The place is always clean and all the people are friendly. Don't hesitate to bring your pet here, they take care and talk to them like people not dogs. I just love this place.

First thing, there has not been a comment written this year, I hope this is because they are so busy with the business of taking care of your (miamiman) that they have not had time to up-date their site. That being said, after reading Miamiman's comments I did want to check Paw Spa out a little further, as of this date March 22, 2010, this business is not an accredited member of BBB in Colorado. Further review of BBB I found that even not being a member thier rating is a B. They only had 1 complaing filed and that was satisfactorily taken care of by the owner. I suggest that when someone has a complaint and it is not handled by the owner, go to BBB....you might be surprised. By the way, I have an appointment with Paw Spa this week for my 6 mos old puppy.

Provided by SuperpagesI will not patronize with this business again. I brought my Shih Tzu for grooming, but more specifically, to have their rear-end glands expressed. They just happened to have a vet. appointment right after the last grooming, and lo and behold, it was not done. The vet said they were "extremely full" so I paid to have the vet. clean them out. I confronted the Spa and they insisted that the "external" glands were done, not the "internal" glands. I called the vet back and they laughed at the ridiculousness of that claim. After much argument, I finally got back my expenses to have my vet perform the service from the Paw Spa, but only after a very lengthy and unprofessional argument. They are a disgrace to their profession!!

In response to "Miamiman's" account of his pet's visit to our grooming salon,The Paw Spa would like to inform the public of our opinion on this matter. All new clients are asked to fill out & sign a "welcome form" that we keep in the client's folder for future reference pertaining to vet/vaccination information, medical issues pertaining to the pet, and disclaimers. The disclaimer clearly states that the grooming process may,at times, cause skin irritations, minor cuts or clipper knicks.First and foremost, let it be known that "Miamiman" agreed to and signed the disclaimer sheet. In the process of a clean face requested on his shih tzu,an abnormally large whisker was cut off.As this happens quite often while giving a clean face it was not mentioned at time of pick up nor on the report card.HAD there been a "huge gash" or wound of any kind on the pet the owner most definitly would have been informed & the pet taken to the vet next door. This clearly was not the case. (continued in response #

(continued from response #1)If this "so called" wound had been as bad as "miamiman" makes it sound he would have noticed it right away and taken his pet 2 his vet immediately & if it HAD been something we had caused that was serious,we would have been presented with a vet bill that we would have gladly paid for. At The Paw Spa we take pride in our grooming services, cleanliness, safety, and relationships with our beloved family of clients. We are sorry about "Miamimans" account of our salon and must apologize for his actions to our new and existing clients. Please disregard further postings from this gentleman as it APPEARS that he is now fabricating stories for it seems that his main and only interest from the start has been 2 receive a free grooming for his pet. Also, please note-NO pets have been "injured" while in our care.Thank u 2 all of our dearly loved clients & aspiring new ones. I don't know what Paw Spa miamiman has been to but it obviously isn't the one I have been to because the Paw Spa I have been to is the most caring business I have ever been to. They are prompt at returning phone calls and they are always so kind to me and my pet. when I tell My sadie girl we r going to the paw spa she just wags her tail and heads for the door barkiing in delight.I have my sadie groomed by the owner/manager and she does such a terrific job that I am referring all the dogs I see on walks to The Paw Spa!!!! What a Great Business!!!!

I was referred to this business by someone who has used them. So I decided to give them a try and see what they are about and also see what kind of work they do. When I arrived I noticed a couple of animals that were being picked up and they seemed to all look good. So I thought that I had found a place to take my boy to get primped and cleaned( like the dog on the cottonalle toilet tissue commercial). The place looked like it is a place that is clean and neat. So I left my kid for the day to get fussed over. When I returned to pick him up initally I was a little surprised as to how he looked ( really short) it was necessary to get him cut real short because of the last place I took him they butchered him real bad. He seemed happy and relieved to be short. They apparently give you a "report card" on his visit. They say that he was a little difficult to handle (not surprising as it was his first visit to this place) I know with the second visit he would be a whole lot better as he would

Best place to take your pet. They are very caring and do exactly what you want done. I've gone to other places that just don't care about your dog. I am so happy I found this place I won't go anwhere else. They are the best place in town. Lori is who I go to, she is a very sweet person.

Provided by SuperpagesThe Paw Spa is very accommodating, my dog previously to the Paw Spa had bad experiences with other groomers, at the Paw Spa they let his best friend ( a Carine Terrier) stay with him during the grooming to calm him down. They also took the time to make friends with my dog so he would get to know them. They are very caring and thoughtful! And may I add the dogs look great when they come out, certainly not a choppy hair cut!
