His last four years at Ft. Bragg had a heavy concentration of surgical adult orthodontics. At Fort Bragg, Dr. Cottone served as the mentor in orthodontics for the two-year general dentistry residency program. He has received numerous military awards and citations for his dentistry.

Dr. Cottone is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association and the Chamber of Commerce.
