Above and beyond

I recently sold my home and part of the inspection resolution was to replace the furnace. I called Parkey's in search of a furnace and a specific brand (due to my realtor placing the brand in the contract). Parkey's went out of their way to order and install a furnace they typically don't deal with to ensure my needs were met! The customer service was awesome from the sales man to the installers and if I need anything in my new home, I will be sure to call them!

Great service!

Buying a Furnace isn't the most glamorous way to spend our money, but Parkey's made the overall experience a very easy and pleasant one. They were great in all phases of the purchase and installation.

Long-time customer.

I've been a customer of Parkey Heating for more than 20 years. I have received outstanding service from every person that I've had to deal with. Tim Parkey who sold me this last Lennox furnace was absolutely professional and gave me all the information I needed to make the right decesion. Chris and Mike of the installation crew were professional. friendly, and knew their jobs. Thanks for a great experience.

Parkey's customer service is great!

I just recently had a new high efficiency furnace and heat pump installed in my home. After several estimates I decided to trust Parkey's with my project. They were not the cheapest but I believe they were the best value. They delivered on time, and the technicians were professional and courteous. During the inspection, the inspector told me that he rarely sees craftsmanship like this anymore. So I would definitely recommend Parkey's!

Looks good upfront. Bad technical service

I like to use local companies rather than franchises. I got a new furnace from Parkeys during all the govt rebate programs. Tim Parkey does a great job selling the product. Wore shoe covers in my home and very professional. Unfortunately, the technician that came to install the furnace killed my opinion of Parkeys. The bifold closet door was removed and has never worked right again. They left sawdust from drilling through a wall to run drain line. A Humidifier was supposed to be installed the day after the furnace but the guy never showed. When I called the office, I was told that they were really busy and couldn't get to it. Apparently, they were committing to starting other jobs before they had mine finished. Several phone calls later, I finally got someone to show up. I don't know if you should not use them. I have not found any one locally in the plumbing business that is worth my time.

Absolutely Horrible Technician

On thursday night, our hot water heater went out in our house. I called first thing Friday morning and the lady had someone out ASAP. She was very helpful and also very polite. The technician came out in the early afternoon and said he had to run a "diagnostic" test. This included him opening the book and looking at the lit up lights on the sensor. I could have done that myself, and I did, that's why I called Parkey's. So I was charged $70, for the opening of a book...that's just the beginning. The worker, said he had a faulty part and had to go back to the store, so what should have only taken 30 minutes, according to him, took him 3 hours. If only it where that nice. The next morning, the hot water heater was not working and my family and I were all forced to take freezing cold showers...including my new house guests who were visiting us from out of state and had been on flights all night and just wanted a warm shower. We called and talked to our same technician and he said

HORRIBLE!

Reid came over to assess my furnace that Parkey's had installed 4 years prior. Told me that I needed two parts and he would call the next morning at 7:15 as he would check with the warehouse that opened at 7:00. He didn't bother to call and went out on a call to Black Forest. I froze the whole night as it as 16 and called him wanting to know if my pipes would freeze. He called me back an hour and a half later. Yea, great customer service. I had someone else install the part - one part when I was told 4 parts by Carol the next morning. Reid left a nasty message on my recorder that I wasn't a priority since I was so hateful to Carol on the phone and I could call if I wanted to be put on the schedule. He also lied and said he never told me the warehouse opened at 7:00. Get your story straight. Hell yes I was mean on the phone as I was left twisting in the 16 degree cold. I also called Carol back and apologized and cancelled my service call.NEVER, NEVER use these people if you w

HUGE Shout out to Parkey's!!

As a very cold winter evening approached, I discovered my furnace had taken a vacation. I called Parkey's and in less than 30 minutes, my call was returned by Reid. Upon inspection of the unit, it became apparent this was more than a minor repair. Reid did everything he could to make it comfortable for me for the night until I could contact my landlord to discuss the issue. The next day, Reid went FAR beyond the call of duty to ensure I wasn't left in the cold all night!! In addition, I had priced out the repairs he mentioned were needed and found they were dramatically better than anyone else I had called. I HIGHLY recommend Parkey's and I give extra praise to Reid! He knew exactly what was needed, approached it in a no-nonsense yet very caring and respectful manner! THANK YOU PARKEY'S! You are definitely on my Christmas Card list!!

septic backup

I had previous experience with Parkeys from a home show. We were considering a new furnace and Mike came out (twice) to show me what they could do for us. I did not end up buying one.###I called them back because of a laundry backup. They sent Patrick out and he inspected and snaked the line I thought was the problem. Turns out it wasn't. He did not charge me for that work but said he would come back the next day with different equipment to address the line he thought was the problem. ###It was about $200 for the total but he spent around 2 hrs all total. Maybe it was on the high side. Patrick was very professional and clean. He wore shoe covers before coming into my house with his plumber boots. ###I had Affordable Plumbing out for the same problem in June. Three visits, $200 and I still had the problem. Parkeys will be my personal plumber from now on.

Expensive & Unexperienced or Lazy

Over charged for an unexperienced or just plain lazy technician (or the way they were trained). When calling the office in regards to the several unrepaired home visits, they were unresponsive, defensive and rude. City employee who came out to do an inspection, found the issue and adivsed on how to fix the issue ourselves. Isn't it great that in this day and age, and in this economy, a company feels that they can run like this..... But for how long I wonder
