I have been going to palace pizza for years with my wife, kids & our friends . The people are friendly, & we USED to love stopping to eat pizza & have a few beers outside after a good river run. HOWEVER after years of loving this place I can not believe how its changed. Transport is now $8 a person to go a few miles & if you have a bunch of kids thats not a cheap day on the river! They are now charging $1 for air if you bring your own tube and all the prices have gone way up on the food & beer. I have my own buisness and I understand that running a buisness isn't easy. But by uping all the prices I think they are going to lose customers as we have decided to just bring our own lunch or eat before we go down the river ( we used to drop $100/$150 everytime as we tend to have a large group when we ate there). We also used to tip the help well for the air and transport that has now stopped! There is no reason to feel like I spent a day in WILDWOOD for what used to be a simple day on the

I really enjoyed my experience,The staff was very helpful,we did the long trip it takes about 4hours.Very peaceful! Two things that I would do to enhance the experience,One is to clean up the river,Its sad that people have to leave trash out.Maybe have volunteers one day a month to clean up the trash (alot of trash along the embankments)and cut down some of the tree branches in the upper part.(very tough to navigate through certsain points).The other is too maybe have it marked better with telling you how far you have to go.Again nice place and a helpful staff!!

I have no idea what you are talking about I've had nothing but great experiences from the palace outfitters and restaurant. There workers are great and alot of fun they make each time going there unforgettable. Now if you go out on the river and get back soon enough they will let you out again free of charge. And when is anything free now a days I love the place and will continue to be a happy costomer

Horrible experience. After OVER an hour, they hadn't brought out our food. We finally cancelled the order, having to leave to get back down the river to return our kayaks to a campground. The restaurant tried to claim we HAD been served and had eaten it already, and demanded payment. An absolute ripoff, and a heartbreaking end to what had been a lovely day on the river. Their staff was brusque and contentious, which explains the automatic 18% gratuity. We recommend paddling right past this one.
