Don't count on support
by In Pain , 06/19/2014
Was prescribed a pain med that no pharmacy had in stock and order time was at least 4 days. Had been on pain meds continuously since radiation therapy in 2010. Called Pain Medicine Associates to see if a short-term prescription could be made till the pharmacy could order this new medicine. Was told to check at local hospital--they didn't have it. Was left high and dry for a week without pain meds till the pharmacy got the new prescription in. For the level of pain I have, a week of no pain meds is an eternity. Don't expect much sympathy from these people.

Will not return your phone calls. Very difficult to get in to see. Makes a good argument for Health Care Reform
