We specialize in small businesses and have been helping them succeed for over 40 years.

Mr. Espen Jansen has owned and operated Padgett Business Services of Colorado Springs, a CPA firm, since 2003. Over almost fifteen years, he held several positions within accounting, finance and operations in Europe and the U.S., mostly with large high technology companies prior to starting his own accounting firm.

Mr. Jansen held a variety of positions over ten years at Ericsson, the global leader in mobile telecommunications equipment. In Burlington, Massachusetts, Mr. Jansen was the director of finance and operations at Ericsson Juniper Networks. In Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, he was the director of logistics for Ericsson Mobile Phones Region Americas and before that manager of logistics for Region Latin America.

Mr. Jansen is a CPA (certified public accountant) and a CVA (certified valuation analyst). He holds an M.B.A. from the University of New Mexico, a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico and a graduate certificate in accountancy from Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts. He was educated in Norway and the U.S., and he received a ski scholarship at the University of New Mexico and skied in the NCAA for four years.

Espen has been married to Diana since 1993 and their daughter, Jeanett, was born in 1996. He enjoys outdoor activities, such as skiing, soccer, mountaineering and other outdoor activities.

Espen is well known for delivering results and peace of mind to small business owners through small business tax, accounting, financial reporting and consulting services, such as business valuations and financial planning. These services result in improved financial control and peace of mind for the small business owner. His passion is to provide services that help the small business owners solve small business issues so they can focus on what is most important – their business’ success and growth.
