Manager and some of the office staff are rude! They will up prices just to make money . For Dr. Weirather (Greedy) Dr. Proutsos the main vet Here is a wonderful veterinarian and gives all her patients the best care!

i had an emergency this past thrusday in which i brought my 5 week old puppy to the outback veterinary. the sign on the door said walk ins welcome. it was an emergency. when i approached the counter with my injured puppy the girls at the desk informed me there was no vet on duty... not only was i there before closing time, they were abruptly very rude, one of the workers handed me a piece of pamplet and said take him here, when i asked for directions she said to me gps it....rude... my baby passed away... i am new to this area, i will never do business here

I have been taking My dogs to Out back for years and have spent thousands there. because the Doctors/vet are awesome. Today I waited almost 2 hours for a 15 min test result and was treated very poorly by the office staff. Out back has always charged more than others and upsells everything. but I thought it was worth it for the Great service they gave. untill today, I can find some one else that will take My money with a smile. I can not be the only one in Polk city thats has a complaint about the office staff ?

As a previous employee, I must say Outback Animal Hospital offers a wonderful, caring, compassionate, and thorough set of doctors, staff, and services. They are continuing to grow both in size, and services. They are never afraid of something new and different. Doc Y and Pam gave me the grounds to stand and build on! Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!!!!

I am not sure what is going on with Outback Vet, new office management, or what but their prices have gone up quite a bit recently. To vaccinate a litter of puppies at a rival vet (and this vet is known throughout Florida for her breeding services) $25.00 per puppy, Outback $45.00 a puppy. Outback nickels and dimes you, they are going to price themselves out of the area of Polk City. Their prices do not reflect the median income in the area. But Dr. "P" is one of the best vets around.

This is a very good pet hospital. I took my yorkshire terrier there, to get her teeth cleaned. She had the most dirtiest teeth! They had plaque, and she had very bad breath. When I came to pick her up, her teeth where pearly white and sparkling, and she was bad breath free! I recommend this hospital. It does a job well done.

I have boarded my dogs at Outback often. The service is exceptional, and they are great with my pets. I would recommend them to everyone!!!!
