During your complimentary first visit, you will be greeted by our friendly and well-trained staff and receive an office tour. Dr. Donovan or Dr. Grob will examine you to determine your need for orthodontics and discuss present and future options. One of the doctors and a new patient coordinator will give you an idea as to what your treatment will include, how long it will take, and the probable fee range.
If an immediate need for care is determined, a diagnostic recording of the teeth and jaws and smile is made.
This includes:
- Facial and dental x-rays
- Digital photographs
- Impressions for making plaster casts of your teeth
- A complete medical and dental history
If treatment is not indicated at this time, future visits will be scheduled to keep your smile and developing dentition under observation.
Dr. Donovan or Dr. Grob will analyze your x-rays to verify the initial diagnosis and prepare a precise treatment plan. The doctor will then meet with you (and your family) to review the diagnosis, correctional procedures, the anticipated length of treatment, and the cost and payment arrangements. If braces are required, you will decide which type you prefer. All of your questions will be thoroughly answered.

Our first visit was such a beautiful experience. I felt like I knew the staff for many years. They were all so friendly with beautiful big smiles. Diane made us feel so welcomed; she explained everything to us about everything we needed to know about braces. We were very well pleased with our service. I highly recommend this office. I remember when we first arrived at the orange grove office we didn't know what to expect, however the entire office made us feel welcomed and at ease. Throughout this whole two year period my son Nathaniel was treated with great respect as were all the patients I observed. I especially want to comment as to how professional the staff was. Rescheduling appointments were never a problem, questions were always answered with a smile, and we never felt like we were an imposition. I remember i once had a question concerning a payment with the insurance company. Your accountant sat down with me and explained everything, making me feel like a valued customer.
