Don't waste your time

I have never did this blog/review thing but I felt compelled enough to specifically do this one. I don't see how this place is in business to put it lightly. My story is how I see every week the same jobs posted over and over again for the last 2 years. You apply they send back this email which I will copy and paste... Thank you for applying with Olympic Peninsula Personnel Inc. If you have already filled out our in-office application and turned in your résumé, we will submit your information to the employer(s) and call you as soon as an employer wishes to meet with you. If you have not yet done so, please come into our office (Mon. – Fri., 9:00am – 4:00pm) to fill out an application, and bring your résumé. Please call or e-mail if you have any questions. Thanks, Does this look familiar to anyone? I have went to the office filled out the paperwork and turned in my resume. I have gotten out of the U.S. Navy and by no means do I feel entitled just because of that in order to get a job or any other credibility even though it is a credibility like any other. I have been fortunate enough to receive work and it's because of my work ethic and ideal to say the least. What I'm saying is that out of two years of applying for the jobs through this company I have received zero call backs.... not even for an interview? Though through this 2 year span I have been blessed enough to have 4 hires from other companies. 2 out 4 were legit companies who appreciated there workers and the 2 jobs are from the same company. Though, I will say to the others that did hire me I can not complain about a paycheck. I will just say as the employment world will say... " I just wasn't a good fit. My point is that I have been blessed to receive work and I have received way more call backs and interviews that did not include me actually being hired which lets me Know for a fact that I am marketable/beneficial to a company or at least worth a look. Which leads to me to my review of this company because at the end of the day I don't feel spited, overlooked, or vengeful. I've been at points where I looked to them as one of my only options to get a job and pay the bills... you know... make ends meet! I understand this work economy thing but to not get a call back of assurance or denial is incompetent on your behalf OLYMPIC PENINSULA PERSONNEL. I feel bad for the people who desperately needed jobs (which I have been there) and look to companies like this who can't even give an explanation back other than when you call to follow up say things are going slow... even though you post your jobs on work source relentlessly. One last thing... I hate the term overqualified. I know I am or feel sometimes I am but that has never stopped me from honestly working. My first job out of the Navy was janitorial and I was the best damn Janitor. I know that I can never stop learning at any level. Give people a real chance or at least stop wasting our time waiting for an opportunity to move forward. Veteran/Father/Citizen/[email protected]

Signed up June 2013

I signed on with Olympic Peninsula Personnel the first week of June 2013, I was informed that Tiffany Washington would be assisting me to locate employment. August 20, 2013 I had yet to hear from her so, I called and spoke to Sabrina, who very politely stated that she would give my message to Tiffany. As of today September 03, 2013 I had not heard from Tiffany Washinton, or any one from Olympic Peninsula Personnel. I called at 9:53 am today, 9-3-13, Tiffany answered I asked to speak to the Office Manager, she replied, "That would be me, how can I help you?" I replied you were supposed to contact me over two month's ago, I was hoping to speak to someone that would actually help me." She replied "Oh, ok thank you. That was the end of the call.....

Found great temporary position!

I came into Olympic Personnel and walked out that day with a long term temporary position at a Legal frim. They are very positive and I recommend them highly.
