I have been a customer of Old Second for over 40 years. In all that time I have never been mistreated nor have I not been able to get any problem corrected to my satisfaction. The staff at the Aurora River St, Redwood Dr and the Joliet/Essington Rd locations have always been polite, friendly and helpful. I would recommend this bank to anyone.

if u plan on opening an acct, take your business elsewhere, with a bank that treats you with some dignity and respect. They are very judgemental at this bank and treat people who have had accts with them for yrs like they are crooks because of a one time error which was immediately taken care of. After over 10 yrs with this bank, I have never been more disappointed and wish my original bank was never acquired by Old Second. They make it extremely difficult for the basics and charge you for every little thing. So many free choices out there, choose wisely.

A few weeks ago I called your bank to ask for assistance with my account. I am currently living in Iowa and do not use this acct for anything except my mortgage and I had had an automatic withdrawal. I have had a few problems in the last 2 months with the acct getting overdrawn and the lady I spoke with was so rude. I wanted to know how much I needed to send to bring my acct up to where it should be and she told me to look it up on the internet. I do not have an internet at home and tried to get her to give me the information. She insisted this was not the polilicy and I should not call again for this type of information. I'm happy that I will be closing this acct as soon as I can get the Bd of Ed to deposit the money which is sent monthly to that acct sent her. This is one of the reasons I live in Iowa. People here are so kind and always want to help. How ignorant for for this woman to think she couldn't give me information that was rightfully mine. Just wanted to send this

Old Second Bank took over Heritage Bank in Chicago Heights. Since this has occured they have lost my money twice. When I called to ask what happened to my balance I was met with a hostile attitude. This bank does not care about the customer or the customers money. The only way I can count on my bank balance to be correct is to find another bank that will not lose my money!!!!
