The Northwest Center for Integrative Medicine is a comprehensive, outpatient healthcare facility specializing in the areas of pain management and general rehabilitation services. We provide medical treatment, physical therapy, psychological counseling, biofeedback therapy and vocational counseling. We offer an intense interdisicplinary, return-to-work pain management program for injured workers with chronic pain.

Steven H. Litsky, M.D., Medical Director
Dr. Litsky is a Board-Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist whose practice is full-time at the Northwest Center for Integrative Medicine. Dr. Litsky provides medical evaluation, treatment and monitoring in the context of our return-to-work chronic pain management program, as well as a full range of outpatient rehabilitative medicine services.

The physical therapy department at Northwest Center for Integrative Medicine provides a wide range of outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation services, both on an individual basis and in the context of the Pain Management Program. Areas of particular expertise and specialization include:General outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.
Isernhagen Functional (Physical) Capacity Evaluation.
McKenzie certified practitioners providing neck and back evaluation and treatment.
Myofascial restriction and soft-tissue injury.
Industrial injury and rehabilitation.
On-site industrial ergonomic assessment and recommendations.
Chronic pain disorders.
Our physical therapists offer an array of services and treat each patient as an individual. Patients are scheduled for one hour evaluation; undergoing a comprehensive process to determine specific needs and treatment goals. These goals are discussed with the patient who become actively involved in their rehabilitation process.Our physical therapists also work closely with referring physicians from the community and our own office to ensure integrated treatment for their patients. Scheduled appointments can me made during our regular hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm or at an alternative time due to special needs.

In accord with our focus on the "whole person" at the Northwest Center for Integrative Medicine, a wide range of psychological counseling services are provided.

Jeffrey L. Okey, Ph.D., Director
Dr. Okey is a Licensed Psychologist who has over 15 years experience working with injured workers and the complex medical, psychological and procedural issues involved in a workers compensation claim. As Clinic Director, Dr. Okey oversees the Pain Management Program while guiding patients to attain emotional as well as medical stability and fully integrate new strategies to cope with chronic pain.

Sarah Sherrard, Psy.D.
Dr. Sherrard is a psychology resident who received her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from George Fox University and joined the NWCIM in May 2008.
