Today I need new tires for my work van. Nuce's tire and Auto is the only place I'll go. My van stays on the road because they take great care of me. Thanjs Dave! You guys rock.

On May 18, 2015, traveling on vacation, our VW camping van hit a pot hole and the front wheel started rumbling. We got a recommendation to go to Nuce’s in Anderson. At this shop, we were told the front right tire had a broken cord. I asked if the full size spare could be put on so we could drive home to Illinois. He asked if the spare was the correct load rating but said he had a new tire that would fit the van. I emphasized that I need a 102 load rated tire for this van (which is shown on the tire information in the door jam). I emphasized that I didn't want a standard 98 load tire. I asked what the load rating of his tire was. He would only repeat that it was a 'Double A' tire. I asked multiple times what the load rating of the tire was and only got 'Double A' tire. I was confused by this but since I needed a tire, I finally decided to trust him that he was selling me the correct tire and agree to have the tire put on the van.

After the tire was on, we drove home and after studying how to read the tire, I see that it is the incorrect 98 load rating, not the correct tire for this camping van.

The service was courteous and I assume competent, but he had not been honest with me. He has sold tires for many years and certainly knew the load rating of the tire he sold me, had intentionally not been honest about the load rating of the tire, and it is the wrong tire. Be careful of the service at this business.
