Constant compassionate care by pdxbailey - 06/21/2009I must say that whomever wrote that awful review must have had a very rough day. Unfortunatly I frequent NWVS more often than I would like. That being said, I have never had a bad experience there. The reception staff on the weekends is phenominal. They are more than willing to sit with you and talk, cry or whatever you need. They are some of the most compaasionate people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The entire staff is amazing. There is no question that these people are in it for the pet and the family. I highly recommend this clinic for any ER or specialty need.
Excellent Care for major emergency by soozies mom - 02/12/2009We had the very best of care for our little dog who was severely mauled by another dog last Summer. They absolutely saved her life. Yes it was expensive but the extraordinary care by everyone from the Tech's to the E.R. Docs was worth every cent. We have used their services several times during the last 10+ years for ortho surgeries to allergies to emergencies. We have never been disappointed with anyone employed by NW Vet Specialists, I wish I could say the same for Dove. Please don't go by one bad review.
Intestine Cancer by Bravo - 11/11/2008They are rude and they don't care about your pet. They only care about your payment and even that they still rude. Not because our dog die, our dog was left without the IV fluid for 6 hours the day after the surgery and that they said" your dog is old" I aware of that and I asked but they said he will be fine. Then when they could not find the blood vein they said My dog is old.
Think carefully before you take your dog there. If you desperate seeing your dog in pain and he is already old, may be the alternative medicine is a better options. Do your research and don't listen to those rude greedy vet here.
