Best in Show

I love this clinic. Not only is Dr. Darcee a great vet, the staff at this clinic ROCKS. They are very professional, compassionate and patient. When I recently moved out of state and tried a different vet, I called back to NP because I was not feeling good about them...ironically, the staffperson on duty said, 'I was just thinking of you...and was going to call and tell you I wasn't feeling good about this clinic"...we've been spoiled by great service there and if I could fly all of my animals back to ABR for their vet treatment there, I would. THANK YOU, Northern Plains!

Great Vetrinary Care

by CP , 11/04/2010

I had been going to a different vetrinarian in Aberdeen for the last eight years. I was always content on the care my dog (best friend) received there. Until I was told about the way that the Northern Plains Clinic conducted business. I since have only been to Northern Plains and will never go anywhere else. I repect Dr. Darcee and will always refer my friends to NP.

Losing a Family Member

by JACK'D , 07/22/2010

Our beloved dog was diagnosed with cancer in May..was immediately put on chemo..gave him another six weeks of active life..and six weeks for us to prepare to say good bye. Our last hours with him were very humane and respectful. Dr. Darcee and her staff helped us to cope and prepare and allowed us to let him pass with dignity, comfort and love. It was the hardest decision and toughest day of my life, but it was the right decision. I have nothing but praise and gratitude towards Dr Darcee and her staff. I will never go anywhere else.

No compassion

by Doogs , 07/15/2010

Our family called the on-call vet. to inform him that our dog was not doing well and we asked what we could do. He stated..."I dont know what you want me to do!" We then knew this was not the place for our loved one. We went to another vet in town and returned home and called Northern Plains to cancel our appointment. We also stated our disappoointment in their Vet and stated he could be more sensitive. Just 5 minutes later he called back to confront us on how we thought of his attituded. My father told this man that he has been in healthcare for 20 plus years and is very sensitve to how people are treated. To this the vet stated..."I have been in the field just as long and I am sensitive to how people treat doctors!" Then then hung up.To me, I always believed that veterinarians had compasion for animals and treated them just like members of one's family. To my family, our dog was family and we needed some help and dare I say.....compassion. Word of mouth is a powerful thing Dr. !!!

Great place for pet and owner

by Cavalier Mom , 01/29/2010

I just moved to the area and did a lot of shopping around. My pups are my children and only the best will do. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable. Dr. Darcee was great with my guys, put us all at ease and we felt like we had been going to see her since day one, yet very professional. The whole visit was a great experience.
