personally would not have given them one star. They are absolutely the worst heating and air conditioning service in the Elizabeth City area. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Had them booked for a job a few months in advance for a whole system change out. When the day arrived for them to show up at my home no one ever came. I called for weeks and left many messages with The rude secretary to have the owner call me since he was the one that gave me my initial proposal. When he finally got around to calling me after 3 weeks he could not find my proposal and told me that he was in his busy season in Nags Head and that a small town community like Elizabeth City did not matter to him. He makes his money off of the tourists in Nags Head and does not support the small community of Elizabeth City and could care less. I told him if he was not intrested in my job who should have let me know and I would have went with another company with a better reputation who does support the Elizabeth City community. I told him I was going to write a review and let everyone know how he felt about the community as well as how unreliable he is. He then told me that he would send some guys out the next day to start the job. At that point I had enough of him and his company and told him to pack sand. I would rather pay a lot more for someone else to do the job than to have him even come to my house and do shoddy work. The reviews on Google are made up from Employees that work for Norris.

Norris Mechanical is the most expensive crooked HVAC company on the Outer Banks of NC. I dealt with the former service manager for years with no problems, I have since learned that he had a heart attack and Norris terminated his employment...what a low life. I will add that the service dept has gone down hill since!!
