Provided by YP.comNOMA is a highly under-rated museum. Their collection includes a broad cross section of paintings and art works by world famous artists, some of my favorites being Vuilliard, Picasso, and Monet. The museum itself is a magnificent building situated in a beautiful park setting, and has a great little restaurant overlooking the lagoon. I also love the way so many of the walls are rich, bold colors-- a great backdrop for the art work, different from the usual sterile white. If you're staying in the French Quarter, NOMA is only a short bus or cab ride away, and well worth it.
