Buyer beware! The few times my wife and I have visited New York Deli News the food has been good. The service is a little mixed, we have had a great server and a couple bad servers. However, our last trip was a disappointment. We had decided to go for a mid-week dinner since we received a coupon in the mail, but when it came time to pay the coupon was not honored. This is partly our fault so read the coupon very, very carefully. We went during the requested times, ordered the necessary drinks, but when it came time to pay it had to be in CASH, which was detailed on a separate part of the coupon. So our mid-week dinner that was going to be a unusual treat for us turned into a $35-40 dinner at a deli. We feel the coupon was misleading and the cashier didn't care at all. We asked if they had an ATM and she said somewhere across the street had one. It was a kind of gotcha, scenario!!! As small business owners my wife and I just were not impressed. Good food and good service. The sandwiches are so stacked with meat it hard to eat them.
