CCHO is licensed by the State of Ohio Department of Human Services, certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health, accredited by the Council On Accreditation, affiliated with Ohio Assoc. of Child Caring Agencies, Fellowship of Christian Homes, Association of Childcare Workers, American Association for Counseling and Development, North American Council on Adoptable Children, Adoptive Families of America, and a member of the Association for Challenge Course Technologyable.

In addition to the residential programs at Wooster, CCHO has foster care and adoptions services in Wooster and Cleveland, that comprise a network of over 100 foster families.
