The National Exercise Trainers Association, also known as NETA, is a nonprofit organization that serves clients in the fitness industry. The organization organizes a range of educational workshops in group exercise, personal training, Pilates and yoga. It operates the Personal Trainer Certification program, which is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). The organization has been in operation since 1977. The National Exercise Trainers Association has certified more than 120,000 fitness professionals. It offers a variety of fitness related apparel and accessories, as well as study materials. The organization also organizes workshops in cardio kickboxing and aerobics. The National Exercise Trainers Association additionally operates various home study courses.
