If you have unhealthy teeth, Dr. Mathias will treat you as a money pit. I had a temporary crown from him that fell off within a year. When I went to get it resealed, he only told the dental assistant to reseal it and then proceeded to tell me to find another dentist. I had not seen him in about 9 months due to the fact that I was working full time and going to college full time as well, and he would pressure me into getting a loan to "fix my teeth", which I could not afford to due on top of paying for my school bills. The day following the appointment, I woke up with a swollen face and sore mouth due to a bad nerve within the tooth, which could have been taken care of the day before had I been given the proper care. When I brought this up, I was accused of being selfish and ungrateful for everything he "done for me", and he "claimed" that there was no way he could have known the day before. If you ask me, he is the selfish and unprofessional one, and I certainly won't be back.
