Since 1960, when it was started by Arnold Barnes and Leo St. Marie, National Furniture Store has been locally owned and operated. In 1987, Arnold Barnes assumed sole ownership of the store by buying out Leo St. Marie. Presently, Arnold's son, Mark Barnes is the Store Manager and one of the Buyers. Jim Hanley, is the Vice President and Sales Manager. Jim is also the Upholstery Manager, in addition to other duties. There are two other salesmen on the floor, Jeff Vens (15 years with the store) and Ron Flatow (18 years with the store); with a total of 13 employees including the warehouse and truck drivers.
Our 24,000 square foot showroom is in the medium price bracket for the "Blue Collar Crowd." We've built a reputation as the "No Baloney" store and are proud to include free delivery with qualifying sales. Our store slogan is: "If you don't buy at National Furniture, you're paying too much!"
