I love Naples Marina and Excursions

I love to kayak at Naples Marina and Excursions I personally think that kayaking here was phenomenal I wouldn't go any were else the wild life and the scenery was so like going through a jungle it was so beautiful and it was just amazing the staff there were very courteous and were polite I would definitely recommend to come here and kayak. The fishing charters are very exceptional the experience is like actually being on one of those reality fishing shows you catch enormous fish I love it!!!!!! The nature tours are phenomenally excellent the tour guide gives you facts about the surrounding that are worth remembering there are a variety of tours to go on I personally think that the dolphin tour is the best you get to actually see dolphins doing some fancy tricks its awesome for all ages I love Naples Marina and Excursions!!!!

Scuba Diving

I have been diving in the Caribbean several times but never went through the process to actually get certified. Signed up for the class at Naples Marina & Excursions and am now PADI-certified and I love it! We did all the book work online on our own time and pace, a pool session, followed by 4 dives in the Gulf, then a one-on-one classroom review with the instructor. I always heard that Gulf dives have low visibility and nothing much to see. Wrong! Yes, we did all the training/safety maneuvers that are required for certification. But, we also saw, a wreck, reefs, and lots of sea life, ranging from bright, colorful tropical fish to a Goliath grouper. (No sharks though.)I now feel safe and confident in my diving abilities and look forward to going out with Mark Garcy to explore more Gulf sites. The Caribbean is a great place to dive but Naples is in my own backyard which means I can do it regularly. The Marina rents dive equipment so no worries about making a large investment until you know you’re hooked. They also sell equipment at reasonable prices so it’s really a one-stop place for training, equipment and dive excursions. I’m now looking forward to getting my spear gun certification so I can have diving fun and bring home dinner!HarryFort Myers, FL

sunset paddle

Recently came down from Tampa with my girlfriend to visit relatives in Naples and got talked into doing a “Sunset Paddle” with Naples Marina & Excursions. Very pleasantly surprised to find it was a great time! We rented a tandem kayak and it was actually very stable and comfortable. Had a group of about 8 kayaks with people ranging from 16-65 – some were novice paddlers and some were experienced but all were very nice. Mark and April led the group. We paddled down a river and into a pass then stopped at the beach to rest, snack and watch a beautiful sunset over the Gulf. (I brought wine and cheese and my girlfriend found it very romantic!) After sunset, Mark and April made sure everyone had some kind of light and we headed back to the Marina. Would not want to try this trip alone after dark since all the mangroves tend to look alike and it would be easy to get lost. However, with the group and lights – no problem. One older paddler wore out and they ended up tying 3 kayaks together to tow him back. One note – be sure to bring bug repellant since mosquitoes love mangroves. In all, a very good time and I will definitely repeat it when I’m down again. Would also like to make the trip in daylight and spend a few hours on the beach.TrevorTampa, FL

kayaking

Kayak down the Cocohatchee River to Wiggins Pass to enjoy Barefoot Beach on one side or Wiggins State Park on the other. (If you can’t choose, there is a sandbar in the center of the Pass at low tide that also makes a nice stopping point.) Or just paddle the river and back-bay areas for a quiet, relaxing day and enjoy the abundance of birds and fish and other wildlife along the mangrove-lined shore. The paddle to the beach takes about30- 45 minutes, depending on tide and wind. If you want to be sure it’s an easy paddle, check the tide tables before you go. What a great way to enjoy some physical activity and then take a break at a beautiful beach.I rented a very nice kayak, with a comfortable, padded seat with back support on my first trip to Naples Marina. Was so impressed with the facility and the paddle that I ended up buying my own kayak and storing it there. They have covered racks in a secure area, with a hose, sponges and a wet/dry vac to clean up after a trip. They also always have someone available to help you get your kayak into and out of the water – very nice for those of us who are not as young and strong as we used to be!All staff is friendly, helpful and more than willing to offer tips and advice on the area. What can I say? Great facility, good upper-body workout, peaceful and quiet with pristine beaches and lots of native wildlife. Makes for a perfect day!Susan BFort Myers, FL

peaceful nature tour for elderly mother

I took my mother for a nature tour this week and it was the highlight of my mother's day. She is 89 and it was an excellent experience from beginning to end. The boat captains helped her on board; she uses a walker. She was comfortable and the boat ride was peaceful and deeply engaging. Linda and Denis Blaise were very informative narrators about the bird life, sea life and had wonderful suggestions about other tourist activities available including a park for a picnic. We missed our 11:30 trip but the receptionist quickly put another trip together with incoming tourists so we didn't wait long. The bathrooms were very clean and the marina's waiting area and outside patio was also exceptionally pleasant. Another positive experience took place when I bought a small bag of ice and postcards because the front desk person was so honest. I walked away from the change coming due from my $20.00 bill; she called out to to get it. I was distracted and she could have easily taken advantage of me. How nice of her and it set such a lovely tone at the end of our experience.

terrible service

too many horror stories about this company

Horrible Customer Service and they stole our money!

We called this company and were giving the wrong information on several calls to rent a boat. My wife then spoke to the owner Mark and he verbally said he would refund our money because of the wrong information we were given. We also only authorized them to charge $220.00 on our credit card (the waiver procedure you must do on the internet), and they charged us $275.00. Now we have reached out to Mark on several calls to see where our credit is and he will not return our calls and his employee has told us we can not have our money back. Lastly, we are in the process of disputing the charge with our American Express. Horrible experience and I would strongly recommend all to go with their competitors.

FANTASTIC FISHING CHARTER!!

We booked a fishing charter with 2 adults and 2 children and really did not know what to expect. All I can say is that we had an absolut blast! The fish were biting, the crew was very knowledgeable and helpful doing all the baiting and untangling of our lines and all around great people. I would recommend this to anyone looking for some great fishing, sights and good times :)
