An oasis of calm on Hollywood Blvd, I always stock up on my favorite small sketchbooks so perfectly purse size. I also love the pens and just found both a brush tip and technical nib in an impossibly fine size. Next its something for the kitchen and or the bath. When you enter the store there is a display of scent vaporizers sending fragrant clouds of loveliness into the air and a few comfortable chairs. The elegant design and quality craftsmanship and utility of every product I buy here keeps me coming back.

I love the brand concepts of MUJI: minimalism, environmental friendly and durable qualities. If it is a wool/alpaca sweater, those will be the two and only materials used to make the garment; nothing else will be blended in. However, most things except sale items and beauty products are overpriced.

For stationery items, I bought their gel pens which were cheap ($1.50 each) and super smooth for writing. The gel pens also had many colors to choose from. I also like their Yuzu & Mikan candies but it is not always available in store.

Parking could be a bit tricky. With the store validation, I could get 1 hour free for parking at the rear lot. Daily Maximum rate was $8.

I like to call this place an upscale Japanese version of Ikea. Their furniture is nice but way too overpriced. They do have a solid selection of clothes but they are also on the pricey side.
