Located on the sunny, wind protected, east side of Mt. Hood, Mt. Hood Meadows is renown for endless runs on diverse trails featuring Oregon's most exciting and varied terrain A system of 13 lifts provides quick and convenient uplift to more than 2150 acres of glorious skiing and snowboarding.
Beginners receive first time lessons from our PSIA certified professional instructors, learning in our fun zone on the Ball Room Carpet - an enclosed conveyor providing uphill service to the gradual slope of our first timer terrain. You'll advance quickly to the Buttercup lift and the beginner terrain. In time our pros can teach you to go as far as you want - to cruising intermediates where you'll enjoy the thrill of connecting turns and taking breaks to soak in the awesome panoramic views.
Meadows has the largest ski and snowboard equipment rental center in Oregon, as well as a high performance center where you can demo new equipment. Two sport shops will assure you will have the best equipment, clothing and accessories for your Meadows experience.
Up to eight restaurants will make sure you stay nourished during your day with cuisine range from sit down fine dining to grab and go grilled items. There's also Manual's Mexican, outdoor BBQ on the Paradise Deck (weather permitting) and a mini-mart. So bring or work up your appetite - Meadows can satisfy you.
The resort also offers night operations five nights a week throughout the winter.
