Started by Danny Coulthurst and Rogan Jones, SR. over 50 years ago, Mount Constitution Sites is located six miles from Eastsound on Orcas Island in San Juan County. Mount Constitution Sites (Approx. 48 deg 40' N, 122 deg 50' W) has 22.98 Acres of antenna farms on Orcas Island at about the 2300' level and another location on King Mountain, just north of Bellingham, WA at about the 550' level.

With five towers on Orcas Island, ranging from 235', 400' and 500', MCSI hosts some of North West Washingtons premiere television and radio stations including KVOS-TV and KISM-FM in five transmission and communication buildings. Other customers include Local, State and Federal Government Agencies, Radio Stations, logging firms, freight companies and food processors. Base of tower 2271 feet MSL. Main tower height 500' 2771 feet MSL.

We have ample availability for TV translators, VHF / UHF Channels, microwave relay, TV cable company, relay point, common carriers, as well as simplex and duplex repeaters. Our antenna farm includes a rain water retention tank for fire protection and electronic toilets in some of the buildings.

Power is virtually un-interruptible with three-phase utility and diesel-electric standby service. Five buildings presently occupy the site including two 150KWh generators.

King Mountain in Bellingham, WA
Mount Constitution Sites also owns a mountain top site on King Mountain in Bellingham for communication between the locations or coverage in the Bellingham area. This site, located 2 miles north of Bellingham at the end of Gooding Avenue, (48-48-03.0 N 122-27-45.0 W - NAD83) has two broadcast quality 102 foot towers and one communications building. Power is available through PSE and phone through the local Telco. Access to the site is via a blacktop road. Coverage extends from the greater Bellingham and Whatcom area well into Canada along the I-5 Freeway. Base of tower is 554 feet MSL and top is 656 feet MSL.
