It was terrible experience for me. Half year ago, one of my tire was broken, so I went to Mr. Tire to replace it. They also did tire balance and alignment for the car. Then I drove the car on highway to another city and noticed that the car was shaking when pressed the brake. 3 days later, I drove back town and parked my in the park lot. When I tried to drive to work, the tie rod pulled off the rack pinion, which means when I turn my steering wheel, the front wheel will not turn at all. I still cannot image what will happen if that happened on the high way. Since the broken parts are exactly where mechanic adjusted for the alignment, so I suspected they did not do the right work, but Mr. Tire guys argued that the terrible tie rod end replace work was the reason. But the tie rod ends were replaced several years ago at different shop by the former owner of the car. I really need my car to drove to work, so I accept the offer that they replace the rack and pinion at a slightly discount price. Again, terrible things happened, after the rack and pinion replaced, the power steering oil started to leak so terribly that I had to add the power steering oil next day in order to drive to the shop again. The guy argued the rack and pinion replace had no problem, high press hose of the steering pump was leaking and recommended to replace the hose. I totally lost trust in the shop. So I went to another shop, and the guy said the hose is fine and rack and pinion replace is terrible work and finally managed reduced the leaky. Now I only need to add some power steering oil every 2 or 3 months. By the way, I spent more than $1000.00 totally and they did not do any good to my car. I will never go to that shop again and would not recommend anybody go there.
