Cameron is an amazing technician!! Not only does he have a master level understanding of his craft, he is extremely conscientious and meticulous. It’s obvious that he takes great pride in what he does!

During the course of working on the repairs to our chimney, the Mountain Man Fireplace & Chimney professionals ran into several unexpected problems. These problems made it necessary to utilize more workers, spend more time and obtain more equipment than had been originally anticipated. Jake, the owner, worked with us to iron out how the problems would be addressed. We were impressed with Jake's integrity & creativity in dealing with the problems. He made sure that enough resources and time were spent in order to get the job done to our satisfaction.

All of the Mountain Man employees who worked on our project were dedicated, hard-working, friendly folks who endured extreme weather conditions while working from ladders and scaffolding in order to get the job done. We were impressed with the office staff with whom we interacted, as well. They were very cooperative, friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mountain Man Fireplace & Chimney. It is a reputable company. They stand behind their work.

Jake and his team has been servicing my fireplace/woodstove for nearly 2 decades. Him and his team are always thorough, clean, and punctual. I have never had any issues with my woodstove and I attribute that to the great work of Jake and his team! Everyone wants to avoid a chimney fire, I feel confident that a chimney fire is reduced to a remote possibility following a thorough cleaning and inspection by the team from Mountain Man Fireplace and Chimney. I recommend Jake and his team without any reservations.

Mountain Man has always been a good company to deal with. Routine pellet stove by Cameron and Bruce today. They were thorough and pleasant to work with.

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!- I called their technicians out to my home in order to fix the auger on my pellet stove. After fixing the auger, their tech comes to me and says, "we fixed the auger, but now we cannot get the blower to work". This blower was working fine beforehand. I asked them if they would be fixing the part they broke and their response was that they could fix it for 250.00 on top of the 340 they charged me to fix the auger. So, now they not only broke a part that was working fine before, but they are trying to charge me around 500 in total. I escalated this to the owner of the company, who was extremely unresponsive (waited 2 weeks to hear back from him) and reluctant to even address the problem. He basically said I was wrong and it wasn't working before, which he would have no way of knowing as he never even examined the poor work performed by his team. In sum, I would never let these con artists in my home or touch anything as they will try to gouge you even on parts that they themselves have broken. I used another local competitor to correct the issues they caused and not only was it cheaper, they actually were pleasant to work with. Stay away from Mountain Man Fireplace!!!!
