Moreland Neighborhood Dental has been a premier Portland Dental clinic from its Westmoreland location since 1971. Our dental services include complete X-rays, Periodontal Therapy, Composite Restorations (tooth-colored fillings), Smile Whitening, Porcelein Veneers and Crowns, Root Canal Therapy and Emergency Care.

Our dentists have a combined 40 years of experience. We have the knowledge and the experience you are looking for in a dentist and in a practice. Our practice includes 4 treatment rooms and 6 hygienists on staff. We value our employees as well as our customers and our hygienists have been with the practice an average of 12 years. Most of our customers are long-term clients who continue to choose Moreland Neighborhood Dental and bring new family members and friends to us.

Our practice is happy to serve your children as well. Our friendly staff can help ease your children's fears and make the regular trip to the dentist a more enjoyable experience for all. We celebrate good hygiene with our "No Cavity Club." All children who have a clean check-up have their picture taken and posted on the wall.

Q: What insurance do you accept?
We are a participating provider in most insurance plans, just call our office and we can verify your coverage prior to your appointment.

Q: What if I don’t have insurance?
We are happy to work with you to make financial arrangements if you do not have insurance coverage.

Q: What do I do if I have an emergency?
We are always available for our patients. We leave an emergency number on our answering machine for any patient with a dental emergency outside our regular office hours.

Q: What if I have a dental emergency and I have never been to the
office before?
We accept new patients, and are happy to see you in the case of a dental emergency, even if it is your first visit to Moreland Neighborhood Dental.

Q: When should I bring my child in for the first time?
Children should start seeing a dentist around the age of three. We typically recommend that children visit us first with a parent or sibling so they can observe the cleaning process. We then let them sit in the chair and take a look in their mouth and see how well they react to this and to give them an idea of what to expect during their visit.
