Modern by Bonkers1 - 01/31/2009For the best Chinese food in town, or anywhere, this is the place to go. I've been going to The Modern for 45 years. They are unique in the way they prepare and cook their meals. Other Chinese restaurants seem to follow the same recipe for the same dishes; not The Modern. They have their own recipes that can't be matched. I no longer live in Walla Walla but I do come back about 5 times a year to visit family and always make sure I go to The Modern at least once for dinner. They are on the top of my list of restaurant to go to. It will be a sad day if this place ever closes.
Be sure to order the almond fried chicken and the pinapple chicken. No one makes it like The Modern.
