On August 13 Mimita's Cuban Cafe passed its final liquor license hearing. That means that in the very near future we will be adding beer, wine and mixed drinks such as the Cuba Libre and Mojito to our menu. We will announce when we will begin to serve alcohol after we obtain our license.

Also upcoming is the regular scheduling of live musicians. We are still in search of a group however, so if you can play/sing Cuban music or know some people that can please let us know.

Cuban food is based on Caribbean ingredients with some Spanish influences. It is a unique blend of spices, sweet peppers, garlic, and tomatoes that come together to form fresh and quality entrées. Our menu consists of food with origins from Spain and different regions of Cuba. The recipes we use have been handed down for generations with no changes. This way you will get the authentic taste of the island.

We are pleased to open our doors and welcome our guests. Our menu offers a hearty, delicious, and homemade island flavor that cannot be found anywhere else. Come and try authentic Cuban cooking. People that grew up with this food and newcomers to this cuisine alike will not be disappointed. We serve quick and delicious lunches in our restaurant, or to go, or a homemade meal for your whole family in our relaxed dining room.
