No wonder they are out of business, horrible customer service, management seemed not to care, and no stock.Time to move on. Could not be more disappointed.
Worst Service by
Deb Coniff -
I have been trying to purchase supplies for my pottery studio from them for more than 10 years. I finally started using clay that they might have in stock, even then I couldn't always get it. I have to drive 4 hours to get there and try to time my trips. Calling ahead worked sometimes. They make you feel as though you were bothering them when you try to get service. Return phone calls? forget it. Now I'm switching all my business to Stone Leaf Pottery. Very nice people.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME by
I have been throwing and selling pottery for 15 years, and have never had such a bad experience with a ceramic supply retailer. Every time I have gone into mile hi ceramics for clay or raw glaze materials I have received poor service and a very bad selection. I will only go there now if I am in a pinch, and have no other choice. The people there simply do not care if they get your business. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the very limited amount of clay I have been able to purchase from them has been high quality and great for throwing. I don't understand how they stay in business. I have been their several times and they are always dead slow.
The best supply/mfg in the area!!!! by
A longtime potter -
I don't know who the other person is that commented on this business, but they don't seem to know $#*&! I have been coming to Mile Hi for at least 40 years. Yes they did start out as a ceramic shop/mfg/distributor. Since the "ceramic shops" are pretty much non existent they are more of a mfg/supplier/distributor of THE BEST CLAY around. The owners of Mile Hi are very very knowledgable. They grew up in the business! Yes everyone has fallen on hard times, but they do their best to have the product you need and if they don't have it they WILL get it for me in a very timely manner. I have always had very friendly service from everyone there. Maybe the person who had the negitive comments should go in with a FRIENDLIER attitude.I am a potter and I alway go to Mile Hi and ONLY Mile Hi for my clay, kilns, wheels, pottery supplies and especially knowledge. There is noone in the area that knows more than the people at Mile Hi Ceramics. The parking has never been a problem either! Maybe the oth
worst ceramic place ever by
there costumer service is beyond awful, you have to pretty much ring a gong to get any ones attention and once you finally get some help they act as if it is a bother to help you or ring you up, they are constantly out of much need tools and supplies, they advertise as a ceramic store, but they are more of a paint your own pottery, their location is difficult to find, and their parking is very limited, seriously Denver needs to get a better ceramic store,
