Old school by
You're online, you just need the manufacturer and model number. Type it in and someone somewhere has a list of the parts you're after.Unless it's a Panasonic microwave. I can't find the model let alone the part anywhere and Sears is still selling it. First parts place can't find it either. Turns out he was just going on-line and was looking on sears parts! Yeah, I looked there first.Second place I stopped looked and then said it would take a while, they'd have to order it from the manufacturer. "Let me think about it", I wasn't done that quick.Someone suggested Mike's and luckily I was headed by on a Saturday and he was open. I popped in with the part and without manufacturer or model, he looked at it under a magnifier, goes in the back and comes out with the part. That's OLD SCHOOL baby!Oh and the price was a good deal better than "we have to order it".
Great company! by
Scott came within an hour of us calling (although he had been at a nearby job) and he fixed our refrigerator quickly. We didn't even lose the food that was in it. We went back and forth before calling a repair man and were about to just buy a new refrigerator, but we called and he was able to come and repair the problem for a fraction of the cost. I'm so glad we called! They guarantee their work for a month. For those looking for ballpark costs (as I was) we had a pretty major repair (he replaced a fan motor, so we needed an expensive part and he had to take it all apart to fix it) and we paid a bit more than $200. We were happy--much cheaper than a new appliance! Scott was very friendly and professional.
Good business by

I just had a dryer motor fail over the weekend and upon calling around after some internet searches it was fortunate that I called Mike. He not only gave helpful advice but also was straight-forward and honest with laying out our options. His prices were the best locally but he did not have it in stock but could get it by next business day. We were hoping to fix things before the week started and without hesitation Mike offered up a competitor who had it in stock and was closer to us if we wanted to get the part sooner. I did call them to see where they were and confirm their pricing (which was higher than Mike's) and despite wanting to fix it then my wife and I decided we would rather do business with someone like Mike who understands the value of customer service. Needless to say, we highly recommend him.
honest & knowledgeable by
I have not needed appliance repair (yet). i thought i would, until the owner (mike) had taken the time to troubleshoot my info. i was saved some $. i was left feeling that this man is honest, knowledgable, & caring for his work. after a prior experience with info from another dealer, this man should be worth given a chance. test him, & try him for yourself!
On June 25th 2010, I was visited, in my home, by Scott-one of your service techs. It's really a good thing when you realize that you are not only being helped by a professional, but an honest one at that!It gets even better when you see that the same service tech, Scott, has a great personality and the ability to explain the problem(s), and what caused them. Scott is certainly all of this, and more. You can be assured that if help is needed with any of my appliances, I will contact you immediately, and, if anyone I know may be in need of your services, I will be more than happy to refer your company to them.Again, I thank you all so much for the repairs to my G.E. side by side- it works great!Even though money is very tight in today's world, it was an enjoyable experience!
