Took my 2006 Chevy Silverado to Mike for a ticking noise. At first he didn't know what it was. He changed the oil and put in Lucas motor oil. Still continued to after getting it back. I noticed it would hesitate when going from a stop to go situation. He charged me $750 for changing spark plugs and cleaning out the valves. It ran great for 30 minutes then the ticking noise came back, but louder. I took it back to him hoping he could figure it out. I had to call several times because he keep telling me he would get to it, but the times he told me came and went. He finally looked at it after having my truck for a day and a half. I would have understood it taking that long if he had informed me it would, or he was busy with other vehicles. I was never informed or told at any point about the length of time he would have it. He told me he couldn't figure it out without opening up the motor to see. He also told me he had contacted a freon who was a GMC technician, and he was unfamiliar with the ticking noise.
