As was explained to this person, we are a salvage yard, not a scrap yard. The amount paid for vehicles varies by make, model, year and demand for parts. We pay much more for vehicles that have a higher potential for parts resale than for vehicles that do not. If it is true that we offered $60.00 for this persons vehicle than it must be an extremely major piece of junk . In these cases we usually refer them to Omni Source which buys scrap metals and vehicles by the pound. Even their prices vary by the type of scrap, market prices, and on vehicles you must have tires, fuel tank, battery, refrigerant, and garbage removed . Unfortunately, there are many dishonest "JUNK VEHICLE BUYERS" that go to extremes to try to discredit others and I suspect the above review was written by one of them.We are a member of the BBB and have been in business for 15 years with a extremely good reputation and long list of satisfied customers.
